This is your opportunity to participate in an annual event that provides a Canadian venue and forum to learn from the experiences within Canada and from other countries. You have the opportunity to share your current work with local and international professionals in hazard risk identification and disaster and emergency interdisciplinary and collaborative forum

With over 200 attendees expected to attend during the three days, your involvement as a presenter - sharing your knowledge, experience and efforts will support the CRHNet community to find local and international solutions to common local and global challenges to benefit us as a global community. The Symposium Theme is:

All Accepted Authors are entitled to discounted registration fees if they become a CRHNet member. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to have your abstract and presentation slide deck and poster papers posted on the CRHNet website. This will give you the opportunity to have your experiences, research, findings and recommendations available for viewing in forthcoming years.

What is the CRHNet?

Established in 2003, the Canadian Risk and Hazards Network (CRHNet) is a broad network of practitioners, academics and researchers. Members of the Network are committed to creating a safer and more resilient Canada – at the local, regional, provincial and national levels. We are interested in risks and hazards – natural, technological, and human-caused. We are from Indigenous Nations, government, commercial, industrial, education, and not-for-profit sectors.
