2026 CRHNet Annual General Meeting
Mission: To bring together the disaster risk management community to increase resiliency by transferring knowledge, building relationships, and exchanging best practices.
Vision: CRHNet envisions a safer and more disaster-resilient Canada.
The CRHNet Board of Directors welcomes and invites both public, and CRHNet members to our 2026 Annual General Meeting.
When: Thursday, May 14th, 2026, from 1:30 – 2:30pm MDT
Where: Production & Innovation Centre (PIC) Building, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), (10210 Princess Elizabeth Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G 2J3)
What: This meeting will include the adoption of CRHNet bylaws, as well as the election of new members of the Executive, and Board of Directors. Agenda and AGM package to follow for CRHNet members. Those interested in voting, or standing for election to CRHNet must be members in good standing.

Election to the Executive, and Board of Directors:
We will be holding elections and are accepting self-nominations
- PRESIDENT – This leadership position guides CRHNet, a Not-for-Profit federal organization, with the support of volunteer Board members, the continued strategic and practical approaches to engage members and promote DRR across Canada.
- SECRETARY – Maintains official records, supports governance processes, and helps ensure organizational continuity and compliance as part of the Executive Committee.
- WEBSITE DIRECTOR – Works closely with all board members to maintain the CRHNet’s website, and assists with communicating DRR activities and opportunities for membership and the general public.
- MEMBER-AT-LARGE DIRECTOR (x2) – This Board position sits on at least one committee and attends at least five of the board meetings per year.

If you are interested in engaging with amazing and dedicated individuals from across the country, we encourage you to consider putting your name forward. These roles are a wonderful way to gain experience and mentorship in the emergency management, business continuity, and disaster risk reduction disciplines, and ‘give back’, as you support the organization into the future.
